Overview: The NASA SEWP (Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement) Program is a multi-award suite of Government-Wide Acquisition Contracts (GWAC). The SEWP contracts provide the latest in Information Technology, Communication and Audio Visual (ITC/AV) product-based solutions and/or services to all Federal Agencies. The SEWP contracts offer customers a wide variety products and services in the ITC/ landscape, such as, desktops and servers, ITC/AV peripherals, security tools, network equipment, storage systems, cloud based services, software products, telecommunication, video conferencing systems, and other ITC/AV and Audio-Visual products. Additionally, product based services such as installation and maintenance are also available to all Federal Agencies customers.

Fair Opportunity: FAR 16.505(b) (1) provides that each contractor shall be given fair opportunity to be considered for each order exceeding $15,000 and issued under multiple award contracts. The FAR states that the method to obtain Fair Opportunity is at the discretion of the Contracting Officer (CO), and that the CO must document the rationale for placement and price of each order. Using the SEWP online Quote Request Tool (QRT) is the recommended method to assist in this activity and to augment the required decision documentation. The SEWP QRT will automatically include the Contract Holders within a selected Group or based on a suggested source.
